PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This Flowers in a field Mesh cake stencil is made from a very fine food safe mesh material. Highly detailed Flower designs can be obtained because of the fine mesh material when compared to regular plastic cake stencils. This Mesh stencil is quite flexible and therefore easily wraps tightly against the outer edge of a round cake creating a fine finish.

How to use: Place mesh stencil onto the fondant using a painter's tape to secure it. (You can use your fingers to hold one side of the stencil, however, this might not be comfortable). Using an offset spatula, place some icing on the backside of it, and push it across the stencil in one direction. Because these stencils have such fine detail, be sure to spread them on softly but strong enough to get through the mesh. Then, take a plastic scraper and run it across the stencil in the same direction to remove the excess icing. Lift your mesh stencil and you should have a clean design.

Caring for your stencil: Wash your stencil gently warm soapy water using a very soft sponge. Rinse it and allow it to air dry completely before storing it. Store it flat. Never stack wet on each other to prevent damage.
